Joint Chairman - Antony Jackson

PaulM20003

Paul is a founder member of a team formed in 1979 of then 6th formers (& friends) from Sale Boys Grammar School. After much squad rotation (and retirements) there are still 2 of the founding members left!  In the early years the team used to book the Sale Leisure Centre Hall, however, like many other teams at Walton Park, they found the advanced booking system (7 days in advance for one pitch) a real pain - trying to be first to phone through at 9:00am! After about 18 months the team discovered Walton Park at the same time as "popmobility" kicked in at Sale on Thursday night - much to their disgust. In recent years some of the players sons have reached the age that they can join in. The team now has about 12 regular adults so the kids make the numbers up when the adults are unavailable each Thursday night, 8-9pm.

Paul Marsland

dom mckenzie02

Dom retired from the team Joint Chairman Duncan Greaves plays in, back in May 1999 after many years of being an active playing member. Dom remains an active ‘social’ member and is known for his encyclopedic knowledge of football and being a very committed football supporter.

MWalsh20004

Having spent nearly three years as the Centre Manager for WPIFC, in March 2016 Matt decided to progress his career by taking up a position with another company in a Marketing role. With a broad knowledge and experience of the operation of the Charity, the Trustees were delighted when Matt offered to continue supporting the Charity in a voluntary role as a Trustee. Matt’s addition to the board provides greater strength in depth with regard to operational matters.
